You probably already have a good knowledge of what High Blood Pressure is, it is simply hypertension, a health condition that is life threatening. Not something anybody wants to take lightly.
If your blood pressure readings are consistently 140 over 90, or even higher; then you should be getting medical help because you just might have High Blood Pressure.
In case you need a reason to believe this isn’t some joke to forget about, if you have high blood pressure (HBP), this puts extra strain on your heart and blood vessels. That’s exactly the extra strain that increases your risk of having a heart attack or even stroke.
There’s so much that can positively change by turning a better lifestyle; eating routine inclusive. Checking at the doctors’ every now and then also helps a great deal; but you have to personally put your daily lifestyle in proper check.
Here’s a bit of what you can do on your own:
Put your heart and soul to daily proper exercise, you already know how good a little extra stretch can do to your health. Get up at your own chosen time everyday and either hit the road jogging, or be at the gym, exercising well.
Quit Any Meal After 8pm
Totally unhealthy to indulge in late snacking or eating. Scrap that! Eat light meals for dinner, spice up your plate with clan vegetables and drink enough water every night and day.
Quit Smoking and Alcohol
If you do this, now is the time to stop. Don’t single-handedly put your health in any further risks by piling up on alcohol and smoking.
Don’t Skip Breakfast
It’s called the most important meal of the day for a number of powerful reasons. Let your eating habit be clean and healthy. You will be reducing your risks of having your blood pressure rise any higher.
Cut Back On Caffeine
Always medically advised, it would serve a good purpose in this case too. Caffeine has been said to trigger the blood pressure, cutting back on it would put things in better shape.
Check Your BP Often
You can either check by yourself or use the Doctors’, either ways; be sure to know what level you and your blood pressure are at all times.
Reduce Physical Stress
You already have your blood pressure on the high side, further stress and less sleep are the next two things you don’t want in your life right now. As much as you can, find enough time to rest your head and get some good sleep, stress a little less.
Don’t forget to get professional medical advise and proper treatment from the hospital, treat your health as priority.
